MotoE – The start of the first championship with electric motorbikes is now upon us, the season will begin in early July with the Grand Prix at the Sachsenring, but first, from 17 to 19 June in Valencia, a test session is scheduled.

The Tech3 team also participates in the MotoE championship with riders Hector Garzo and Kenny Foray and today officially presented the livery.

Hector Garzo said: “After the Jerez accident, I am very excited to start this new project again. The Valencia test will be very interesting for all the riders, because we will have the opportunity to do many laps to work on the bikes, plus the emotion of the race, which will allow us to collect a lot of information. I'm more than ready to get started!”

Kenny Foray added: “I'm really lucky to be with Tech3 E-Racing! I'm very excited about the new project, I like the bike and discovering this new category is simply fantastic for me. I know, I need to learn a lot of things, but I'm ready and can't wait for the first race to arrive."

Hervé Poncharal, Team manager, concluded: “The long wait is over after the unfortunate accident that happened in Jerez in March and soon we will be able, all of us, riders and teams, to start working and riding the Ego Corsa new in Valencia. This test is definitely overdue. This test will also be a very important key, there will be a race simulation, which will give us much more information, feedback and understanding of what the races will be like. We will also try the new qualification. Apparently, Energica and Enel have worked hard to have even better and safer equipment. We can't wait to be in Valencia after the Barcelona MotoGP race to start working on this great new project, which, I believe, will attract a lot of interest starting from the Sachsenring race.”
