Moto3 Sepang, Free Practice 3: Salom ahead of Folger, Antonelli is seventh

Luis Salom (KTM Team Red Bull Ajo) achieved the best time in the third and final free practice session of the Moto3 class in Sepang, scene of the Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix, the fourth to last stage of the 2013 world championship.
The world championship leader in fact stopped the clock at a time of 2:13.280, a time that allowed him to lead Jonas Folger, riding the Kalex KTM of Team Aspar, by almost half a second.
Third time for Maverick Vinales, riding the Team Calvo KTM. The Spaniard who lapped in 2:13.927 is ahead of his compatriot Alex Rins, the Mahindra of the Portuguese Miguel Oliveira and Alex Marquez, second rider of the Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 and brother of Marc, the leader of the MotoGP world championship.
Niccolò Antonelli, seventh, is the best of the Italian drivers. The Team Gresini rider who has a gap from the top of just over a second precedes the Australian Jack Miller, the South African Brad Binder and Phillip Oettl, who closes the Top Ten.
Romano Fenati with the FTR Honda of San Carlo Team Italia is instead in twentieth position, preceded by Alessandro Tonucci, sixteenth. Twenty-fifth, twenty-sixth and thirty-third times for Matteo Ferrari, Francesco Bagnaia and Lorenzo Baldassarri. Ana Carrasco, the only representative of the fairer sex on the track, is in twenty-ninth position.
