Moto3 2015 German GP Day 1: the best time of the day Enea Bastianini comes directly from FP1 (1'27”886) 7th given that in the second session scheduled for today, the young man from Rimini was the victim of an error, falling and no longer being able to improve his benchmarks. The time lost today will have to be recovered by the Team tomorrow so as to put Enea in the best conditions to defend his second place in the general classification.
Great day for Andrea Locatelli 9th who was very satisfied with the behavior of his Honda, managing to set a good time (1'28”001).

“I'm not very happy – he said Enea Bastianini – in the first session, this morning, I used a set-up that I already knew quite well then, since I wasn't very comfortable, in the afternoon we adopted a new solution which however did not give the desired results. I also made a small mistake when I slipped and lost grip on the front. This obviously compromised the second session, as he was only able to return to the track in the last few minutes available. Tomorrow we will work a lot on the bike, because today I struggled a bit, especially with regards to the front: I struggle when entering corners and consequently I also find myself in difficulty when exiting, where I am often forced to widen the trajectory".

“We made some small changes and managed to improve in the afternoon, even though the track was perhaps slightly slower; this means that we have made a big step forward – the words of Andrea Locatelli. I like the bike; I'm acquiring more and more feeling session after session and even the vibration problem that bothered us in the last few races seems to have disappeared. It must be said that on this track there are many left-hand corners, while I have always had the problem in the right-hand ones, so now we will try to better understand whether the problem has actually been solved, so that it does not recur again in the next races. In any case, today went well and we are happy: we just need to refine some details to try to get closer to the fastest, but we are already at a good point. Compared to the other riders, I lose a bit of ground in T2, where I still can't turn as I would like, while in the rest of the track it seems like we're already pretty good. If we can improve in the slower parts I think we can do well."
