Moto3 Qatar, Warm Up: Rins ahead of Vazquez and Marquez, Honda dominates

Alex Rins also made the warm up of the Moto3 class his own in Losail, where the 2014 world championship will start in a few hours. The poleman in fact lapped in 2:07.227, a time that allowed him to beat his compatriots Efren Vazquez and Alex Marquez, the latter his last team-mate. Fourth time for John McPhee, with Honda dominating, placing four bikes in the top 4 positions.

The first KTM is that of Isaac Vinales, rider of the Calvo Team. The Spaniard, who is almost a second behind Rins, precedes our Romano Fenati, riding the KTM of the Sky Racing Team by VR46. Three other Austrian bikes follow, those of Jakub Kornfeil, Niccolò Antonelli and Jack Miller. The Top Ten is closed by a Honda, that of Alexis Masbou, 1.339 behind.

Thirteenth time for Francesco Bagnaia; the second rider of the Sky Racing Team by VR46 precedes Guevara and an excellent Enea Bastianini, fifteenth with the second KTM of Team Gresini.

The other Italians are Andrea Locatelli 17th, Alessandro Tonucci 21st and Matteo Ferrari 22nd. Twenty-seventh time for Ana Carrasco, the only representative of the fairer sex on the track.
