Jack Miller won an exciting race in the Moto3 class at Losail, the opening race of the 2014 world championship. The Australian KTM rider preceded the Hondas of Alex Marquez and Efren Vazquez. The word is up to them.

“Alex (Marquez, ed.) pushed a lot, I wasn't very comfortable with the tires in the first sector, but I managed to stay there – said Jack Miller – I was close enough on the last lap to try to overtake on the straight. Alex made a mistake, it almost seems like he did it on purpose, I was just trying to stay in the slipstream. It's a good victory, I'm happy. It's incredible, I haven't really realized it yet, but it will definitely happen.

"I'm happy. I gave it my all throughout the race, every lap, I tried to do the best I could today – said Alex Marquez – In the end on the last lap I made a mistake, going a bit long, but I'm happy and we're trying to keep this line which I believe is the right one. A second position in the first race, I'm very happy.

“I tried to do a bit of work with Rins, on the race, to try to find space – added Efren Vazquez – In the end I think it was smart to wait for the straight. The bike was faster than the others. Everyone else went wide on the last corner, so I took advantage of the engine power and we finished third. Too too happy
