Moto3 Qatar, Free Practice 2: Fenati repeats the best time of FP1, Antonelli recovers

Romano Fenati confirmed himself as the fastest also in the second free practice session of the Moto3 class in Losail, the opening race of the 2014 world championship. The centaur of the Sky Racing Team by VR46 stopped the clock at a time of 2:06.168, a time achieved right under the checkered flag and which allowed him to beat Jakub Kornfeil, also on a KTM but from Team Calvo, by just 22 thousandths.

Third time for the Australian Jack Miller on Team Red Bull Ajo's KTM. Behind him Niccolò Antonelli recovers ground, who after a difficult first round manages to enter the positions that count with the KTM of the Junior Team GO & FUN. His gap from his compatriot Fenati is less than 4 tenths and this gives him hope for the rest of the weekend.

Fifth time for the Frenchman Alexis Masbou, ahead of Alex Marquez's Honda, which loses two positions compared to FP1. Marc's brother (reigning MotoGP champion) is ahead of his compatriot Isaac Vinales and the British John McPhee.

Closing out the Top Ten are Alex Rins (with the second Honda of Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) and Francesco Bagnaia, who managed to improve his time compared to FP1, despite losing a position.

In twenty-second, twenty-third and twenty-fourth position we find Enea Bastianini, Alessandro Tonucci and Andrea Locatelli, while Matteo Ferrari closed the session in twenty-sixth position.
