Moto3 Mugello: Positive tests for Bastianini, while Antonelli completes a few laps
Test day for the GO&FUN Moto3 Junior Team riders
Niccolò Antonelli and Enea Bastianini took to the track today at Mugello for the tests organized by Dunlop. The Team Gresini riders carried out a differentiated job. Antonelli only completed 14 laps, while Bastianini, the great protagonist of the Italian Grand Prix, "stopped" only by the crash triggered by Jack Miller, worked on the suspension of his KTM, finding a good feeling.
“It was a positive test, in which we were able to try different solutions aimed mainly at improving cornering – said Enea Bastianini (1'57”8) – we concentrated on the suspensions, testing shock absorbers, some of which worked well , others less. I wasn't able to do many laps because a light rain slowed down the work, but I'm happy with the result of these tests.”
“In these tests we preferred to do only a few laps to verify that everything was in order on the bike used on Sunday during the Grand Prix, without carrying out any particular tests – added Niccolò Antonelli (1'58″7) – We are already looking to the next appointment at Montmelò .”
