Romano Fenati won the Moto3 class Spanish Grand Prix, thus repeating the success obtained last week in Argentina. The Sky Racing Team by VR46 rider who started from the fourth row ran a tactically perfect race, going on to win ahead of the Spaniards Efren Vazquez and Alex Rins, both on Honda. With this success the rider from Ascoli moves to just 5 points behind world championship leader Jack Miller, fourth today. The word is up to him.

“This victory is even more beautiful because yesterday and Friday we had a lot of problems with grip, at the rear and the tires were going down quickly, but yesterday the team gave me a great hand, helped me, we stayed until late in the evening in the garage to try to improve the bike. Today unfortunately I started from tenth position because yesterday I didn't have much feeling with the bike, which today was completely different, beautiful, it was her! On Friday he closed in front of me, so I no longer had the confidence to even brake, he closed a lot and Rossano Brazzi made a big difference. Today the race was very difficult because from tenth position it is never easy to think about victory. From the first corners I understood that I had to try to push to move forward, then we did a bit of passing and repassing but in the end I had a slightly faster pace than the others, I got in front, the tires held up until the end , even though with two laps to go I crashed at the last corner, but it's okay. However the tires were good, I managed to go fast even on the last lap and I did it. Alex Rins overtook me at the last braking point, but he went a bit long, I managed to slip away and luckily Vazquez was a little further away, otherwise he would have passed us too and won. I'm really happy. Last year I wasn't much, I even intended to stop, to quit. But then, little by little, I found the right motivation. I took it as a season of experience, so it was good for me. This year I'm a little more experienced, for me it's the third season and therefore I have a little more experience. The Valentino team and Sky put me in a position to be up front for almost all the races."
