Moto3 Jerez 2015 GP: Enea Bastianini he finished in 9th place, winning the final sprint against John McPhee, Isaac Vinales and Jules Danilo. Unfortunately, the Gresini Racing Team Moto3 rider, who started 7th, was unable to stay with the leading group due to technical problems with the gearbox which led him to make several errors. The start was already not perfect, and a long run in the first laps forced the young Enea to make a comeback from 16th to 9th position, still important points which allow the Italian driver to occupy fourth position in the general classification with 47 points.
Similar problems for teammate Andrea Locatelli who still managed to recover from 23rd to 16th position.

“Today – Enea Bastianini then explained – unfortunately it was not possible to be fast in the race: the bike was vibrating a lot and in the last laps the gearbox problems that I had from the start increased: I struggled to downshift and sometimes the gearbox it went into neutral, consequently I often came in too far when braking. In the final I limited the damage, but I'm not happy with this placing: I'd like to understand what's wrong to get back to fighting for the positions we believe we deserve."

“Today in the race – added Andrea Locatelli – I struggled to downshift: the lever was very hard and at the end I even developed a blister on my left foot. At the start I started well, but we also paid for the fact that the chassis wasn't completely right: if I could have lapped a little faster in the first laps, perhaps I could have aimed to stay in the group in front of me, fighting for points. All in all, however, I'm happy with how it went: I almost didn't get any points and above all I feel like I've found my confidence again. Probably the first two races of the season went very well because no one expected it, after which perhaps we wanted to seek the result at all costs. In reality I still have to grow and learn and there is time to do that; I have to get on the track to have fun, if I work hard and remain more calm the situation will certainly improve."
