Moto3 Italian GP Race – Jorge Martin wins the Moto3 class Mugello Grand Prix.

Starting from pole, the Gresini rider immediately tried to break away from the group, but after a couple of laps, Marco Bezzecchi (PruestelGP) and Fabio di Giannantonio (Gresini Racing) caught up. Throughout the race the three took turns leading the classification.

The race is decided only under the checkered flag with a sprint finish of the three. In the end it is the Spaniard who gets the better of the two Italians by just 19 thousandths. Marco Bezzecchi with second place maintains the championship lead with a three point advantage Martin. On the lowest step of the podium Fabio di Giannantonio was also third in the world rankings.

Behind the leading trio a group of twenty-one riders fought for the 'wooden medal'. Under the checkered flag, Gabriel Rodigo prevailed, finishing fourth, ahead of: Andrea Migno (Angel Nieto Team), Enea Bastianini (Leopard) and Tony Arbolino (Marinelli Snipers).

In the final Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard) managed to 'grab' ninth position, ahead of Niccolò Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse) and an incredible Manuel Pagliani, Leopard wild card, who completes the top ten.

Nicolò Bulega (Sky Racing Team VR46), fighting throughout the race in the group for fourth position, finished twenty-first. Of note is the withdrawal of teammate, Dennis Foggia, due to a bike failure.
