Moto3 GP Catalunya Free Practice 1 – As usual, it is the lightweight class that opens the dance on the Montmelò circuit, where the Catalan Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, the seventh stage of the 2018 MotoGP.
Jorge Martin (Gresini Racing) recorded the best performance of FP1, stopping the clock at 1:49.241. The winner of the Mugello Grand Prix preceded an excellent Nicolò Bulega (Sky Racing Team VR46) who returns to the important positions after a difficult start to the season, and Jakub Kornfeil.
Fourth time for Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia), followed by Raul Fernandez and Kaito Toba. Behind the Japanese driver, our Enea Bastianini (Leopard) who finished about 4 tenths from the top, ahead of Alonso Lopez and Albert Arenas. World championship leader Marco Bezzecchi completes the top ten.
Out of the ten was Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard) who, having crashed without consequence, finished in twelfth place. Fabio di Giannantonio (Gresini Racing) finished 14th, while Dennis Foggia (SKY Racing Team VR46) was sixteenth, followed by Niccolò Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse), 17th, and Andrea Migno (Angel Nieto team), 19th. Only 29th Tony Arbolino (Marinelli Snipers)
