Moto3 | GP Austria Warm Up: The rain is coming, Masia is the fastest
A brief disturbance hit the Red Bull Ring, but the track dries out very quickly
Moto3 GP Austria Red Bull Ring Warm Up – After the rain of penalties that arrived yesterday after qualifying, which upset the starting grid, real rain also arrives on the Red Bull Ring to further mix up the cards.
The storm hit a few minutes before the session, but the track showed that it could dry out in a very short time. This data will be very useful in view of the race, not only for the cadet category.
At the end of the 20 minutes with a continuously improving track, Jaume Masia recorded the best time, stopping the time at 1:42.542, ahead of Andrea Migno and Makar Yurchenko.
Fourth time for world championship leader Aron Canet (Max Racing Team) who finished ahead of Albert Arenas and Filip Salac. Romano Fenati (Snipers) finished eighth ahead of Ai Ogura and Jakub Kornfeil who completed the top ten.
The other Italians were far away. The pair of Sky Racing Team VR46 drivers, Celestino Vietti and Dennis Foggia, finished in 18th and 20th position respectively, while Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard) was 21st. Riccardo Rossi (Gresini) finishes 25th, ahead of Stefano Nepa (Avintia), 30th.
