Moto3 2015 GP Catalunya Day 1: It wasn't the best start to the weekend for Enea Bastianini who, already on the second lap of the first free practice session, crashed, losing the entire session. However, the Rimini driver recovered the situation in a great way in FP2, finishing 5th (1'51"750), just over a tenth from the leader Danny Kent, and satisfied with the setup found by his team in such a short time.
He worked harder Andrea Locatelli who finished in 28th place (1'53”170), probably due to a rear problem. However, the driver said he was confident for the rest of the weekend.

“I'm sorry about the fall this morning – he explained Enea Bastianini – because we could have accomplished the work done this afternoon already in the first shift. It was my mistake, I found Oettl in front and I had to take another line. Despite everything, in the second round we managed to do a good job; already in my first outing I was fast and afterwards we improved the bike further. In fact, at the end I set my best time, with the new tyre. I think we can be competitive tomorrow, even if it's too early to say: after all, we've only done one session of testing, so we still have work to do. Furthermore, I'm not one hundred percent, I have a bit of pain in my left shoulder and as a result I struggle a bit when braking on left-hand bends. However, the sensations on the bike are already good."

“The rear of the bike vibrates a lot – he clarified Andrea Locatelli – and today I had to fight against this problem: I feel it especially in the fast corners, especially the right ones, where I lose a lot of ground compared to the other riders. Apparently, however, towards the end of the day we started to get on the right path to solving it; now we will analyze all the data even better to understand what it is. Ultimately the gap to the leaders is not very high, so if we manage to resolve this problem we know we can move up positions, because in the sectors of the track where the inconvenience does not emerge the bike works well. Let's work to fill these gaps and tomorrow we can improve, without a doubt."
