Moto3 Argentina, QP: McPhee wins pole before the rain arrives

GP Argentina Moto3 Qualifying – First real qualifying of the 2017 season for Moto3. After the cancellation of the session in Qatar, the minor category took to the track for the round on the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit. In the hours before the QP, a shower of rain poured onto the circuit, but for the start of the session, the asphalt was in perfect condition. The risk of rain forced the riders to immediately start battling for pole, a battle that went on for 40 minutes, given the arrival of precipitation.

Niccolò Antonelli (KTM Ajo), precedes Enea Bastianini (Estrella Galicia), in 14th position. Marco Bezzecchi(CIP) finishes in 23rd position ahead Tony Arbolino (sic58 Squadra Corse), who was unable to replicate the excellent performance of FP3. Lorenzo dalla Porta he is unable to bring his Mahindra beyond 26th position, leading Manuel Pagliani (CIP), 29th.
