Moto3 2015 Aragon Race – Incredible Moto3 race in Aragon. Right on the last lap the twists and turns, with Bastianini who, in an attempt to pass Binder, collides with him, the two end up on the ground and a few corners later it is Kent, vying for the victory who "flies" away after a bad high- side.

The winner is Miguel Oliveira, with his third hit of the year after those in Mugello and Assen. On the podium Jorge Navarro and Romano Fenati, with Niccolò Antonelli finishing sixth. The first two positions in the world rankings do not change, Kent and Bastianini remain stationary at 234 and 179, while Oliveira with this goal success at 159, ahead of Fenati who has 155 and Antonelli, fifth at 136 points.

Race report

The riders of the Moto3 class are ready to compete in the Aragon Grand Prix, the fourteenth stage of the 2015 world championship. Our Enea Bastianini will start from pole position, author of the best time with a time of 1'57.755. The winner of Misano will have next to him in the front row the KTM of the Portuguese Miguel Oliveira and the Honda of the world leader Danny Kent. Second row for Jorge Martin (Mahindra), Jorge Navarro (Honda) and for Niccolò Antonelli (Honda), rider of Team Ongetta Rivacold. Frenchman Alexis Masbou will open the third row, ahead of Efren Vazquez and Philipp Oettl.

Difficult qualifying for Romano Fenati, who will start from the tenth spot, fourth row. The Team Sky VR46 driver is ahead of Brad Binder and Jakub Kornfeil. Seventeenth and eighteenth time for Andrea Migno (who however will be relegated three positions on the grid for having hindered other drivers in qualifying, slowing down on the trajectory) and Francesco Bagnaia, seventh row for Lorenzo dalla Porta, eighth for Stefano Manzi, tenth for Alessandro Tonucci and eleventh for Davide Pizzoli and Manuel Pagliani. All ready, twenty laps to go for 101.56 km. The traffic lights go out, the fastest at the start is Miguel Oliveira, who started ahead of Bastianini and Martin.

Bastianini attacks and immediately takes the lead and Martin also overtakes Oliveira. The first lap ends with Bastianini ahead of Martin, Oliveira, Antonelli, Navarro, Binder, Kent, Vazquez, Fenati and Masbou. Fourteenth and fifteenth position for Bagnaia and Dalla Porta.

Positions change, as usual the Moto3 class race is always very tight. Oliveira takes the lead again, ahead of Martin, Bastianini, Antonelli, Navarro, Binder, Fenati, Kent, Vazquez and Masbou. The lead of the race changes again, this time it is Antonelli, rider of Team Ongetta Rivacold who takes first position. He also catches up with Fenati, who with a series of overtaking moves, the last of which is truly remarkable, moves himself into first position when we are on the sixth lap.

World championship leader Danny Kent is also part of the match and attacks to take the lead. Kent, who will race in Moto2 next year, again with Leopard Racing, now precedes Oliveira, Antonelli and Fenati, with Bastianini sixth. The first ten riders are within less than a second and at the eighth lap they are: Oliveira (who passes Kent right at the finish line), Antonelli, Navarro, Fenati, Bastianini, Binder, Vazquez, Oettl and Martin.

Having reached the halfway point of the race we find Oliveira in the lead ahead of Antonelli, Navarro, Kent, Bastianini, Fenati, Binder, Oettl, Vazquez and Martin. At this moment Migno and Bagnaia are also in the points, with Lorenzo dalla Porta in sixteenth position. The Italian colors are held high by Bastianini, now fourth, Antonelli, sixth and Fenati, seventh. Double fall, Isaac Vinales and Darryn Binder to the ground. Karel Hanika is also on the ground, the victim of a bad high-side. Meanwhile, Manuel Pagliani retires.

Five laps to go, everything is still wide open, Kent is in the lead ahead of Oliveira, Bastianini, Navarro, Antonelli and Fenati. Last km of the race, Miguel Oliveira took the lead, ahead of team-mate Brad Binder. The two riders of the KTM Red Bull Ajo Team precede Bastianini, the three fan out, two fast laps promise. The last lap begins, Binder in the lead, ahead of Oliveira, Kent, Bastianini, the latter attacks, wanting to repeat the victory at Misano. Last corners, Binder is touched by Bastianini, the two end up on the ground! Kent also falls, high-side for the world championship leader, an incredible epilogue to the race. Oliveira went on to win the third race of the year ahead of Navarro and Fenati, Antonelli finished sixth, after having had to widen the trajectory due to Kent's fall.
