Moto3 | Malaysian GP Qualifying: Foggia, record pole, Migno is sixth
The Honda Leopard rider preceded Guevara and Garcia
Moto3 Malaysia Sepang Qualifying – Dennis Foggia takes pole position in the Moto3 class Malaysian Grand Prix, the 19th and penultimate stage of the 2022 MotoGP.
The Honda rider achieved it with a time of 2:11.411, a new Malaysian track record. For the Team Leopard rider this is the fourth pole of his career and season.
The GasGas of Team Aspar of World Champion Izan Guevara and Sergio Garcia complete the front row, trailing by 0.224s and 0.263s respectively.
Team KTM Red Bull Ajo riders Jaume Masia and Daniel Holgado occupy fourth and fifth positions ahead of Andrea Migno's Honda Snipers.
Third row for the Japanese Ayumu Sasaki (Husqvarna Max Racing Team) and Tatsuki Suzuki (Honda Leopard) and for our Riccardo Rossi (Honda SIC58 Squadra Corse).
Stefano Nepa (KTM MTA) will start from 12th place, fourth row. The other Italians had not passed Q1: Nicola Fabio Carraro and Elia Bartolini, KTM Avintia riders, will start from 23rd and 24th place, while Alberto Surra (Honda Snipers) finished 26th.
