Moto3 | GP Assen FP2: Munoz confirms his lead, Migno is fifth

Moto3 Dutch GP Free Practice 2 – Team BOE rookie David Munoz also won the second free practice session of the Moto3 class Dutch Grand Prix, a race scheduled for Sunday on the splendid Assen track.

The 16-year-old, in still difficult weather conditions given the rain (which however was less intense than in the morning, ed.) set the best lap with a time of 1:49.491, putting the Japanese Tatsuki Suzuki (Honda Leopard) and Ryusei Yamanaka ( KTM MT Helmets – MSI), separated by 0.181s and 0.232s respectively.

Followed by the Hondas of the British Scott Ogden (VisionTrack Racing Team) and our Andrea Migno (Snipers Team). Sixth time for the CFMoto of Carlos Tatay, who preceded the Hondas of the SIC58 Squadra Corse of Lorenzo Fellon and Riccardo Rossi. Closing the Top Ten are the KTMs of Deniz Oncu (Tech 3) and Jaume Masia (Red Bull Ajo).

John McPhee (Husqvarna Max Racing Team), Izan Guevara (GasGas Aspar), Ivan Ortolà (KTM MTA) and world championship leader Sergio Garcia (GasGas Aspar) also qualified for provisional Q2.

Alberto Surra riding the Team Snipers Honda recorded the 16th time, while Dennis Foggia (Honda Leopard), Elia Bartolini (KTM Avintia), Stefano Nepa (KTM MTA) and Luca Lunetta (replacing the injured Matteo Bertelle riding the second KTM of Team Avintia, ed.) are in 21st, 23rd, 24th and 25th position respectively.
