Moto3 | Qatar GP FP3: The heat affects the session, Garcia the fastest
Migno did well in second, Fenati, Rossi and Nepa in Q1
Moto3 GP Qatar Free Practice 3 – The third free practice session of the Moto3 class Qatar Grand Prix took place in very high temperatures. This prevented almost all the drivers from improving the times recorded during the second free practice session.
At the end of 45 minutes the best time was that of Sergio Garcia who, riding the GasGas team bike, stopped the time at 2:05.064, preceding Andrea Migno (Snipers Team) and Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58 Squadra Corse) by almost half a second. .
Fourth time for the rookie Izan Guevara (GasGas) who finished ahead of Dennis Foggia (Leopard) and Darryn Binder (Petronas). The Italian driver, having not improved on the time recorded yesterday, will be forced to pass through the Q1 trap.
Jaume Masia (KTM Ajo) finishes seventh ahead of Xavier Artigas (Leopard) and Pedro Acosta (KTM Ajo). Ryusei Yamanaka completes the top ten.
Riccardo Rossi (BOE) is out of the ten and finishes 12th ahead of Niccolò Antonelli (Avintia). The former will go through Q1 while the latter, thanks to the time recorded in FP2, will directly access Q2.
The other Italians lagged behind with: Stefano Nepa (Boe), 19th, and Romano Fenati (Max Racing Team), 21st.
