Moto3 GP Qatar Qualifying – Tatsuki Suzuki wins the pole of the Qatar Grand Prix at the Losail International Circuit, the first round of the 2020 MotoGP. Second career pole for the Japanese rider.

The driver of the SIC58 Squadra Corse team, after overcoming the Q1 trap, took his Honda to the top with a time of 2:04.815 and preceded Raul Fernandez, who on the KTM of Team Ajo is only 8 adrift thousandths and precedes Albert Arenas.

Darryn Binder opens the second row ahead of Ai Ogura and Jaume Masia (Leopard). Andrea Migno (Sky Racing Team VR46) is the first of the Italians, he will start from seventh place ahead of Deniz Öncü and John McPhee. Tony Arbolino (Snipers) completes the top ten.

The other Italians were far away. Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46) starts from sixteenth place, while Romano Fenati (Max Racing Team) will start from 18th.

Dennis Foggia (Leopard) will start from nineteenth place after missing out on Q2 by just 35 thousandths. Stefano Nepa (Aspar) will start from 22nd place, ahead of Riccardo Rossi (Gresini) and Davide Pizzoli (BOE).
