Moto3 | Gp Brno Race: Canet, victory and world leadership, spectacular comeback by Antonelli

Moto3 GP Czech Republic Brno Race – Aron Canet won the Moto3 class Czech Republic Grand Prix, the tenth round of the 2019 MotoGP championship, held on the Brno track.

The Max Racing Team rider (Max Biaggi's team, ed.) preceded our Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Honda Leopard) and Tony Arbolino (Honda Snipers) at the finish line.

Spectacular comeback by Niccolò Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse), forced to start from the pits after his bike stalled on the grid. The #23 finished fifth, but very close to the podium. Also scoring points were Andrea Migno seventh, Romano Fenati eighth and Dennis Foggia fifteenth.

In the world championship Canet returns to the lead with 3 points ahead of Dalla Porta, 50 over Antonelli and 55 over Arbolino.

3 Moto2019 class Czech Republic Grand Prix news

We are ready for the Moto3 class Brno Grand Prix, the tenth round of the 2019 MotoGP. The riders are on the grid, twist, bike off for Niccolò Antonelli, who started from the front row.

Fenati takes the lead, followed by team-mate Arbolino, Lopez, Fernandez, Canet, Yurchenko, while Antonelli 24th sets the fastest lap. Lorenzo Dalla Porta is 12th.

Fall for Riccardo Rossi, rider ok. Behind him Antonelli is making a furious comeback, he sets the fastest lap, 2:08.451. The driver of Team SIC58 Squadra Corse is recovering a second per lap from the leaders.

It's a big battle ahead and the riders continue to exchange positions. The group doesn't run very fast and halfway through the race Dalla Porta even takes the lead, after having recovered many positions, given that he started seventeenth. Antonelli's comeback was huge and he started from the pits and is now eighth.

Canet takes the lead, the Max Biaggi Team rider precedes Arbolino, but the positions change again, it will be a battle until the end. Antonelli's "impossible" comeback continues, starting from the pits and now fifth.

Five laps to go, Dalla Porta precedes Arbolino and Canet, Antonelli is fourth. Double fall for the Team Estrella Galicia riders, Lopez and Garcia. A very angry Lopez, on the escape route, pushes Garcia.

The group has split up, eight riders are fighting for the victory, including five Italians. Four laps to go, three Italians in the lead, Dalla Porta, Arbolino and Antonelli, followed by Masia and Canet.

Two laps to go, Dalla Porta ahead of Arbolino and an amazing Antonelli, who now moves into second position. The last lap begins, Arbolino takes the lead, Antonelli loses some positions.
