Moto3 | Misano GP Qualifying: Suzuki wins pole
Arbolino and Canet in the front row, Dalla Porta seventh
Moto3 GP San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Misano Qualifying – Tatsuki Suzuki wins the pole of the Moto3 class San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix, thirteenth stage of the 2019 MotoGP.
The driver of the SIC58 Squadra Corse team, on his first career pole, after overcoming the Q1 trap, stopped the time at 1:42.844 ahead of Aron Canet (Max Racing Team) and Tony Arbolino.
Jaume Masia opens the second row, preceding Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46) and Niccolò Antonelli SIC58 Squadra Corse.
The world championship leader, Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard), suffered a mid-session crash, fortunately without consequences, but which prevented him from continuing his qualifying despite the efforts of the mechanics to get his bike back together. Albert Arenas will start eighth ahead of Marcos Ramirez (Leopard) and Andrea Migno, who closes the top ten.
Dennis Foggia (Sky Racing Team VR46) will start from 13th place, while Romano Fenati will start from 18th. The driver from Ascoli, after having passed Q1 despite a fall, was also involved in a violent crash in Q2 which prevented him from continuing.
