Important coup achieved by WTR San Marino Team which in 2010 will debut in the brand new category of the MotoGP called Moto2", which will replace the 250cc class, thanks to a partnership with ADV Advanced Technology of Monaco.
The team managed by Team Manager Loris Castellucci, thanks to the experience accumulated in 6 years of participation in the World Motorcycle Championship and engaged in 2009 in two classes (125 and 250) with as many riders (Alex Baldolini and Johann Zarco) in the next season , thanks also to the partnership with ADV, will be able to count on a technological potential capable of making it play a leading role in the new class of the MotoGP, where all the manufacturers and all the teams will have to start from scratch, with completely new frames and engines from develop as early as this autumn.

Therefore, ADV Advanced Technology of Monaco, in the persons of its technical manager Eng. Roberto Cevolini and his staff, will technically support Team WTR on the track for the management of the competition prototypes. The vehicles were specifically designed and built by ADV for the 2010 season of the World Motorcycle Championship, Moto2 class, the new medium motorcycle class that replaces the 250cc class.

ADV also collaborates with the engineering department of the CRP Technology company of Modena, one of the most famous companies in the supply of technology and co-design to the most prestigious racing teams in the world.
ADV will build its Moto2 around the DGM2 delta-box chassis in aluminum alloy and plans to carry out the first track tests at the end of October.
The motorbike will be equipped with the Ohlins TTX25 suspension at the front and rear, the classic Mono Ohlins TTX, the Brembo braking unit and the newly designed Marchesini wheel rims, the Domino throttle controls, the Braking brake discs, the MOTOREX oils and lubricants . For the entire aerodynamic project, a massive use of Rapid Prototyping is envisaged, of which CRP Technology is the world leader, together with its Windform certified materials, used by F1 Teams and other racing motorsport categories both on the track and in the wind tunnel to aerodynamic tests. The development engines will be derived from the Honda CBR600RR.
