Moto2 Valencia, Free Practice 3: Espargarò ahead of Iannone
Fall without physical consequences for Marc Marquez
Pol Espargarò achieved the best time in the third and final session of the Moto2 class in Valencia, the last round of the 2012 world championship. The Team Pons rider stopped the clock at a time of 1:35.369, a time 743 thousandths better than that set by our Andrea Iannone, here at his last race in Moto2; next year he will in fact be riding the Team Pramac Ducati, a bike he will test as early as next Tuesday.
Third time for another Italian driver, Simone Corsi, of Ioda Racing. The Roman rider who will next race in Moto2 but with Team Forward preceded the 2012 world champion Marc Marquez, who crashed in this round without physical consequences.
The next Honda Repsol MotoGP rider (who will start in last position in the race for the contact occurred yesterday with Simone Corsi) lapped almost a second from the top.
Behind him were Dominique Aegerter, Nico Terol, Thomas Luthi, Takaaki Nakagami, Esteve Rabat and Bradley Smith, who closes the Top Ten.
The other Italian riders are Mattia Pasini (who here replaces the injured Alex de Angelis) 27th and Alessandro Andreozzi, 30th with the second Speed Up of Team Speed Master.
