Moto2 Valencia, Free Practice 1: Lowes at the Top, Corsi, Baldassarri and Morbidelli in the Top Ten
The Speed Up driver preceded Luthi and Rins
Moto2 2015 Valencia Free Practice 1 – Sam Lowes was the fastest in the first free practice session of the Moto2 class in Valencia.
The Speed Up driver (who will race with Team Gresini next year) clocked 1:35.761, a time that allowed him to beat the Swiss Thomas Luthi by 0.203s.
Third time for the rookie Alex Rins, who aboard the Kalex of Team Pons preceded the German Jonas Folger and his compatriot Esteve Rabat, in his last race in the middle category of the world championship (next year he will be aboard the Honda Factory MotoGP again of Team Marc VDS, where he will be joined by the Australian Jack Miller).
Rabat precedes his compatriots Luis Salom and Julian Simon and our Simone Corsi and Lorenzo Baldassarri, (Forward Racing riders) and Franco Morbidelli (Team Italtrans).
New world champion Johann Zarco is eleventh, ahead of Japanese Takaaki Nakagami and Finnish Mika Kallio.
