The second day of testing on the Valencia circuit which sees the intermediate category riders as protagonists ends with Pol Espargarò (in the photo) in command.
The vice world champion ended the day with a best time of 1'35"520, followed by Nico Terol, two tenths behind.

Close behind are Tom Luthi, 420 thousandths behind, Julian Simon and Estev Rabat.

The Italians are further behind. The first is Simone Corsi, ninth, almost 7 tenths behind the leader of the day. Fourteenth place for Alex De Angelis, more than a second from the top, eighteenth Pasini just under two seconds.

24th is the Italian-German Sandro Cortese, with a heavy gap of more than 3 seconds.

    Pasino was 18th, over a second behind his teammate. I fear another disappointing season.

    I think we will see at least a dozen riders on the podium this year... let's hope

      True.. very close category, I see Espargaro as the clear favorite this year, immediately behind Lüthi and Redding with several "outsiders"..
      We also hope for DeAngelis to return to positions that best suit him.

      barring unforeseen circumstances it will be a political domain that is too strong compared to the others. it already deserved a motogp... but there weren't any competitive bikes left...

      I agree with Testoner, barring "hats" Espargarò will be leader without problems... Last year there were 3 of them, now that Marquez and Iannone are in MotoGP there is no one at his level...
      Surprise yes or no Terol, in 125/moto3 when he wanted he gave 1sec per lap to everyone, it was strange to see him struggling last year..
