Moto2 Sepang, Free Practice 2: Luthi ahead of Zarco and Lowes
Simone Corsi, tenth, is the best of the Italian drivers
Moto2 2015 Sepang Free Practice 2 – Swiss Thomas Luthi set the best time in the second free practice session of the Moto2 class in Sepang, the scene of the penultimate stage of the 2015 world championship.
The driver of Team Derendinger Racing Interwetten stopped the clock at 2:07.453, a time that allowed him to precede the new world champion Joahnn Zarco by 0.285s, riding the Kalex of Team Ajo Motorsport.
Third time for Sam Lowes' Speed Up, fourth for Alex Rins' Team Pons Kalex and sixth for that of the Japanese Takaaki Nakagami.
The Germans Jonas Folger and Sandro Cortese occupy the sixth and seventh position, ahead of the 2014 Moto3 champion Alex Marquez, Luis Salom and our Simone Corsi, riding the Forward Racing Kalex.
Franco Morbidelli on the Kalex of Team Italtrans is twelfth, while Lorenzo Baldassarri, on the podium at Phillip Island, is eighteenth.
