Moto2 Sepang, FP3: Nakagami before the rain, Morbidelli good
The Japanese driver preceded Morbidelli and Folger
GP Malaysia Moto2 Free Practice 3 – The third and final free practice session of the Moto2 class in Sepang was characterized by the weather. The classic Malaysian rain arrived 10 minutes before the end of the session and forced the drivers to return to the pits.
The fastest up to that point was the Japanese Takaaki Nakagami, who took Team Asia's Kalex to the top with a time of 2:07.283.
Behind him is our Franco Morbidelli, who missed out on victory by just 10 thousandths at Phillip Island.
The VR46 Riders Academy rider preceded the German Jonas Folger, the Spaniard Axel Pons and the world ranking leader Johann Zarco.
The Frenchman is followed by the Swiss Thomas Luthi, the Spaniard Alex Marquez and the Germans Sandro Cortese and Marcel Schrotter. The Malaysian Hafizh Syahrin closes the Top Ten.
Mattia Pasini recorded the eleventh time, Simone Corsi the seventeenth, Lorenzo Baldassarri the twentieth, Luca Marini the twenty-first and Alessandro Nocco the twenty-eighth.
