Toni Elias – Moriwaki Team Gresini – Winner
“I am very happy for several reasons today. The first is that we returned to winning while having fun and without suffering and not like in Jerez or Le Mans. We have made a huge step forward in terms of development following the indications of the recent tests carried out on the Aragon circuit. Progress has been constant and then yesterday in the last twenty minutes we made a further leap in quality. Then today we took to the track with a further small modification and in the race it worked perfectly. The start wasn't the best and I was a bit disturbed in the first corner. Then from eleventh I started to recover until I was behind Iannone, the fittest rider in the world championship. At that moment I thought that everything would be very difficult because I would have to fight until the end but instead everything was extremely easy and I won. We are leading the world championship and now I deserve a few days of holiday in complete tranquility."

Andrea Iannone – SpeedUp – 2nd place

“I started well and held the lead for most of the race, but I wasn't able to win. Toni Elias was very fast today: congratulations to him and his team. I didn't have an optimal feeling with the bike like yesterday, the rear-wheel drive put me in difficulty. Toni reached Gabor and me and fled with a step that I couldn't repeat. Now we will analyze today's race to understand what happened and prepare the bike as best as possible. We must be able to be competitive and consistent, as has happened in the last few races. I am very grateful to the team for their commitment, the work they are doing is incredible.”

Roberto Rolfo – Suter Team Italtrans – 3rd place
“It's very nice to be on the podium again, it's an absolutely fantastic feeling. I'm very happy, because I really like this track, in fact this is where I got my first victory in 2003! I enjoyed riding and after the first session we worked to improve our usual pace. So far this year I have often been fast, but we haven't managed to get a good result. I was very focused for this race. It was nice to fight at the front again. I'm really enjoying this new category.”
