Moto2 Sachsenring, Qualifying: Pole position for Zarcò ahead of Simeon and our Morbidelli
The Frenchman will once again start from pole, Simone Corsi also achieved an excellent result in 5th
Goes once again to Johann Zarco the Moto2 pole position here at the Sachsenring, with a time of 1:24.044 and thus obtaining its fourth pole position of the season. If Zarca in front no longer causes a stir, the news today is that this time the Italians are also in Moto2: excellent 3rd time, and therefore starting on the front row for Franco Morbidelli just two tenths away and a good 5th time too Simone Courses 4 tenths behind the French, tomorrow therefore our team can finally aim for the first Italian Moto2 podium of the year.
The leader of the classification, thanks also to the injury that is slowing down Tito Rabat, seems to be increasingly master of the middle class. Second half for the Belgian Simeon one tenth behind the Frenchman and ahead of our Franco Morbidelli who is preparing to play a leading race tomorrow.
In second row we have Luthi, our Corsi and then Tito Rabat who despite running with an injured shoulder still manages to harpoon the second row, almost half a second behind Zarco.
The two home riders close the top ten Cortese e Folger, Sam Lowes e Rock.
The other Italian driver Lorenzo Baldassarri gets the 16th time, 9 tenths from the Frenchman's pole position.
