Moto2 – Sachsenring Qualifying – Iannone still on pole
Andrea Iannone achieved his fourth pole position of this season, also managing to do so at the Sachsenring, where he stopped the clock at 1'24.982, a full six tenths better than Arne Tode who was surprisingly second on his home circuit. The driver from Abruzzo, penalized in Barcelona for overtaking under the yellow flag, will start from pole also ahead of Toni Elias, third despite a crash.
Julian Simon is also on the front row with the fourth time, better than Gabor Talmacsi, fifth with the second Speed Up followed by Simone Corsi, sixth with the Motobi of the JIR team.
Among the protagonists of the championship, Shoya Tomizawa is eighth, while Roberto Rolfo dropped out of the top ten with the twelfth time after being ninth this morning.
The other Italians are in 16th position with Alex Baldolini, 23rd is Claudio Corti, 24th Raffaele De Rosa and only 39th Niccolò Canepa with the only Force GP210 present.
