Moto2 Misano QP: Bagnaia, “I'm confident for the race”

Moto2 QP San Marino GP – The pilot of the Sky Racing Team VR46, Francis Bagnaia, tomorrow he will start from the second row, in sixth position; more delayed Stefano manzi, eighteenth.

After the difficulties encountered yesterday in the first day of free practice, Pecco managed to improve in qualifying, obtaining a good second row which confirms him as the fastest rookie:

“A very positive qualifying session, especially if we consider the result in FP3. In general I managed to improve the feeling while driving and exiting corners. We also did a good job on the pace and I'm confident for the race. I found myself in a very similar situation to the one at Silverstone, but now I can manage it with more confidence. I will start close to the strongest, I will aim to stay with them and have a good race".

Stefano's qualification was affected by a fall at the start of the session which made him lose concentration:

“I expected something more from this qualifying, but the crash at the start of the session certainly complicated things. I returned to the track without managing to improve my time. Tomorrow I'll start from the sixth row, I'm eight tenths behind the strongest and the aim is to have a great race in front of the home crowd.".
