The last free practice session of the Moto2 class saw world leader Esteve Rabat, rider of the Marc VDS Racing Team (Kalex), excel. The Spaniard in fact stopped the clock at 1:37.748, a time that allowed him to beat his compatriot and 0.190 Moto2013 world champion Maverick Vinales by 3s, who crashed without consequences a few seconds before the end of the session.

Third time for an increasingly positive Jonas Folger. The German rider from Team AGR is ahead of the Spaniard Julian Simon (Kalex) and our Mattia Pasini, also riding a Kalex, but from Forward Racing.

Sixth time for the winner of the Spanish Grand Prix Mika Kallio, seventh for the Swiss Thomas Luthi and eighth for Franco Morbidelli, who is also in the positions that count this morning. The Team Italtrans rider, who is also part of Valentino Rossi's VR46 Riders Academy, precedes Sam Lowes and the home rider Joahnn Zarco.

The other Italian drivers are Simone Corsi 13th, Alex de Angelis 24th and Lorenzo Baldassarri 25th
