Moto2 Le Mans, Free Practice 2: Salom ahead of Rabat and Vinales
Cosi and Morbidelli did well, finishing in sixth and eighth place
Luis Salom set the fastest time of the second free practice session of the Moto2 class at Le Mans. The Team Pons driver (who last year was fighting for the title until the last race) who lapped in 1:38.254 preceded his compatriot and world championship leader Esteve Rabat by just 60 thousandths, who in turn is ahead of Maverick Vinales, riding the second Kalex of Team Pons.
Fourth time for the Swiss Dominique Aegerter, fifth for the German Jonas Folger and sixth for the Roman Simone Corsi. Seventh time for the Jerez winner Mika Kallio, who precedes an excellent Franco Morbidelli (who is part of the VR46 Riders Academy), eighth, Julian Simon and the San Marino Alex de Angelis, who closes the Top Ten.
Further back Mattia Pasini, sixteenth and Lorenzo Baldassarri, twenty-ninth.
