Moto2 Le Mans, FP1: Italian dominance in France, Baldassarri ahead of Morbidelli, Bagnaia and Pasini
There are six Italians in the Top Ten, including Simone Corsi and Luca Marini

GP Le Mans Moto2 Free Practice 1 – Italian colors dominate in the first free practice sessions of the Moto2 class at Le Mans, scene of the French Grand Prix, fifth race of the 2017 world championship. The best time was achieved by Lorenzo Baldassarri, riding the Kalex.
The Forward Racing driver stopped the clock at a time of 1:38.158, a time that allowed him to beat his Team Marc VDS compatriot Franco Morbidelli by just 11 thousandths.
Third time for the Sky Racing Team VR46 rookie Francesco Bagnaia, also on a Kalex, ahead of Mattia Pasini. Four Italians in the first four positions, a spectacular start for our standard bearers, with the world championship ranking seeing Morbidelli in the lead after four races.
The Japanese Takaaki Nakagami interrupted the Italian dominance, fifth and ahead of the Belgian Xavi Vierge and the Swiss Dominique Aegerter.
Simone Corsi and Luca Marini also did well, occupying eighth and ninth position ahead of Alex Marquez.
