Gp Jerez MotoGP Race- Alex Marquez wins the Moto2 Red Bull Spanish Grand Prix. this is the first career victory for the Marc VdS team driver. Fall for his teammate, Franco Morbidelli, who interrupts the streak of victories that began in Qatar.

Extraordinary race by Francesco Bagnaia (Sky Racing Team VR46), who in his fourth appearance in the intermediate category achieved his first podium, ahead of Miguel Oliveira (KTM Ajo). Mattia Pasini (ItalTrans) finished fourth and lost the last step of the podium at the end due to tire degradation.

Excellent fifth place for Luca Marini (Forward), who precedes Marcel Schrotter (Dynavolt Intact GP) and Dominique Aegerter (Kiefer Racing) at the finish line. Alex Marquez starts very well from pole, Morbidelli's attack comes immediately at the first corner but he is forced to widen and give up the position to his teammate. The two immediately begin to hammer away, separating their pursuers.

With the two leaders closing the gap by 2 passes, the challenge for third position begins. Before the end of the third lap Pasini passes Aegerter together with Bagnaia, moving into third position.

With 23 laps to go Simone Corsi crashes, hitting Nakagami and Vierge. All pilots ok. Luthi, second in the championship standings, took advantage of this and gained three positions after having started badly. In the meantime Bagnaia passes Pasini and in the fourth race in the intermediate class he virtually places himself on the podium.

With 20 laps to go, the two Marc VdS team riders extend their lead over the first of their pursuers to 4 seconds, Bagania also protects himself from any attacks from Pasini, trailing him by more than a second.

With 18 laps to go, Alex Marquez makes a mistake, braking too far. Franco Morbidelli immediately takes advantage of this and takes the lead of the race. The next lap the twist, Franco Morbidelli crashes. Fall without consequences, with the Italian rider trying to restart but being forced to retire. Marquez takes the lead of the race. On the virtual podium Baganaia second and Pasini third.

With 13 laps to go the leading positions remain unchanged, while the challenge heats up at the rear, with Luca Marini attempting to attack fifth position. The following lap Pasini follows Pecco.
With 8 laps to go, Oliveira, fourth, begins to catch up on the two Italians. Within a few laps, Mattia Pasini suffered a clear decline in his tyres, favoring Oliveira's recovery. The overtaking by the Portuguese driver comes with 5 laps to go.

Alex Marquez wins his first career victory in Moto2, followed by Francesco Bagnaia, the first podium of his career, and Miguel Oliveira.
