Moto2 Indianapolis: Pole position for Alex Rins, Morbidelli on the third row
Second pole position of the season for the Team Pons driver
Moto2 2015 Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix QP – Alex Rins will start from pole position in the Indianapolis Grand Prix. The Team Pons driver achieved it with a time of 1'36.549, a time that allowed him to beat the reigning champion Esteve Rabat by 0.137s. Also on the front row (for the second time this season) is the Finnish Mika Kallio.
The Swiss Thomas Luthi, the German Jonas Folger and the Japanese Takaaki Nakagami will start from the second row. The third row will be opened by the British Speed Up driver Sam Lowes, who preceded the world championship leader Johann Zarco and our Franco Morbidelli.
Forward Racing drivers Simone Corsi and Lorenzo Baldassarri are absent, with the Team returning to Brno after the judicial arrest of owner Giovanni Cuzari.
