Moto2 | Thailand GP Warm Up: Marini wins the last session before the race
Binder and Marquez trail by a few thousandths
Moto2 GP Thailand Warm Up – Luca Marini wins the Warm Up of the Moto2 class Thai Grand Prix, fifteenth stage of the 2019 MotoGP world championship.
The Sky Racing Team VR46 rider stopped the time at 1:35.910, preceding Brad Binder (KTM Ajo) by just 8 thousandths and the world championship leader, Alex Marquez (Marc VdS), by 92 thousandths.
Augusto Fernandez (FlexBox HP40), who crashed fortunately without consequences at the end of the session, finished fourth, ahead of Tetsuta Nagashima and rooki Jorge Martin (KTM Ajo).
Seventh time for Tom Luthi ahead of Iker Lecuona and Remy Gardner. Home rider Somkiat Chantra completes the top ten.
Out of the league, the other Italians Enea Bastianini (Ital Trans) finished twelfth, ahead of teammate Andrea Locatelli and Stefano Manzi (MV Agusta Forward). Fabio Di Giannantonio (Speed Up=) is fifteenth, ahead of: Nicolò Bulega (Sky Racign Team) and Lorenzo Baldassarri (Flex Box hp40). Mattia Pasini (Tasca Racing) is nineteenth while Marco Bezzecchi (Tech3) is 22nd.
