Crash for Arbolino forced to Q1
Moto2 GP Thailand Tests 3 – Pedro Acosta confirms himself as the fastest also in the third session of the Thai Grand Prix, 17th stage of the Moto2 class, scheduled in Buriram.
The KTM Ajo team rider stopped the time at 1:35.297, equaling the track record to a thousandth of a second and trimming almost half a second from the first of his pursuers, Fermin Aldeguer (SpeedUp) and almost seven tenths from the third, Sergio Garcia (Pons).
Fourth time for Marcos Ramirez (OnlyFans American Racing) ahead of Jake Dixon (Aspar) and Albert Arenas (KTM Ajo). Aron Canet (Pons) finishes seventh ahead of Celestino Vietti (Fantic) slowed down by a technical problem at the start of the session and Jeremy Alcoba (Gresini), Alonso Lopez completes the top ten.
Dennis Foggia (Italtrans) closes at the foot of the top ten in eleventh position.
The other Italians will be forced to Q1. Tony Arbolino (Marc VdS) was the victim of a crash at the beginning of the session and only managed to get back on track towards the end, finishing in 26th place, ahead of Alberto Surra (Forward), 27th, and Mattia Casadei (Fantic), 30th.
