The three Italians: Pasini, Marini and Bagnaia, start well from the front row, but after a few laps the first twist. The ItalTrans driver, second at that moment, slips. To avoid it, 'Pecco' is forced to pass on the gravel, returning to last track. At that point the fight for victory becomes a threesome between Marini, Mir and Binder, with the South African first passing the Sky driver and then taking command of the race.

The positions remain crystallized like this until the end, the real action on the track is that of Bagnaia who, lap after lap, manages to recover, finishing twelfth.

Brad Binder wins in front, followed by rookie Joan Mir (Marc VdS) and Luca Marini (Sky Racing Team VR46), with his first career podium.

Fourth position for Miguel Oliveira, who thanks to Francesco Bagnaia's misstep managed to recover in the standings, taking himself to -7 points. Fifth position for Sam Lowes, followed by Marcel Schrotter and Xavi Vierge.

Simone Corsi hits the top ten by crossing the finish line in eighth place, keeping Jorge Navarro (Gresini Racing) and Fabio Quartararo (Speed ​​Up) behind who completes the top ten.

Romano Fenati (Marinelli Snipers) finished out of the points in sixteenth position. Federico Fuligni and Stefano Manzi finished in 23rd and 25th position respectively.
