Moto2 GP San Marino Free Practice 1 – Francesco Bagnaia wins the first free practice session of the San Marino Grand Prix and the Riviera di Rimini Moto2 class.

On the Misano track, where the thirteenth round of the 2018 MotoGP World Championship will take place on Sunday, the Sky Racing Team rider stopped the clock at 1:38.014.

The world championship leader preceded Jorge Navarro (Gresini Racing) and Marcel Schrotter.

After an excellent start to the session, Mattia Pasini (Italtrans) finished fourth fastest, just over three tenths behind the top. Behind the rider from Rimini, Bagnaia's first opponent for the title, Miguel Oliveira (KTM) and the rookie Joan Mir (Marc VdS).

Seventh time for Lorenzo Baldassarri (Hp Pons) ahead of Luca Marini (Sky Racing Team VR46) and Brad Binder (KTM). Alex Marquez (Marc VdS) completes the top ten.

The other Italians are far from ten. Stefano Manzi (Forward) finished in sixteenth position, ahead of Simone Corsi and Andrea Locatelli (ItalTrans), 20th. Rookie Romano Fenati (Marinelli Snipers) finished in 27th position.
