The KTM Ajo team rider stopped the clock at 1:51.055, preceding Tetsuta Nagashima by 0.052s and world leader Alex Marquez (Marc VDS) by 0.288.

Fourth time for the rookie Jorge Maritn who, on the KTM of the Ajo team, precedes Remy Gardner and a surprising Stefano Manzi on the MV Agusta of the Forward team. Seventh time for Tom Luthi ahead of Luca Marini (Sky Racing Team VR46) and Somkiat Chantra. Iker Lecuona completes the top ten.
