It had never happened in Moto2 that the front row was entirely monopolized by Italian riders
Moto2 GP Germany Qualifying – Mattia Pasini wins the pole of the Moto2 class German Grand Prix, ninth stage of the 2018 MotoGP.
The ItalTrans team driver stopped the clock at 1:23.787, conquering his second pole of the season and ahead of the two standard bearers of the Sky Racing Team VR46 team: Luca Marini and Francesco Bagnaia. Second consecutive front row for #10.

Sam Lowes will start from fourth place, ahead of Lorenzo Baldassarri (HP Pons) and Xavi Vierge.
Alex Marquez recorded the seventh fastest time and precedes his teammate, the rookie, Joan Mir. Marcel Schrotter and Brad Binder complete the top ten.
Rookie Romano Fenati (Marinelli Snipers) will start from the twelfth spot, while Andrea Locatelli (ItalTrans) from the seventeenth.
Simone Corsi was unable to do better than 19th, while Stefano Manzi was only 27th.
