Moto2 German GP Sachsenring Free Practice 1 – The first free practice session of the Moto2 class German Grand Prix, the eighth round of the 2021 MotoGP, saw Remy Gardner excel.

Third time for Xavi Vierge, with the Team Petronas rider ahead of rookie Raul Fernandez (Red Bull Ajo), Augusto Fernandez (Marc VDS) and our Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Italtrans). Closing out the Top Ten are Sam Lowes (Marc VDS), Jorge Navarro (Speed ​​Up), our Marco Bezzecchi (Sky Racing Team VR46) and Tony Arbolino (rookie Intact GP).

Simone Corsi (MV Agusta Forward), Aron Canet (Boscoscuro Aspar), Albert Arenas (Boscoscuro Aspar), Bo Bednsneyder (SAG Team) and Hafizh Syahrin (NTS) also qualified for provisional Q2.

Nicolò Bulega (Gresini) occupies 19th position ahead of his compatriot Stefano Manzi (MV Agusta Forward). Lorenzo Baldassarri with the other MV Agusta Forward was 24th, while Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46 rookie) finished 26th.
