Moto2 Austin, Warm Up: Folger ahead of Kallio and Simon, Corsi is sixth
The German from the AGR Team was the fastest despite a crash
Jonas Folger set the fastest time in the Moto2 class warm up in Austin. The German AGR Team driver brought his Kalex ahead of everyone with a time of 2:10.690, and was also the author of a crash without physical consequences.
Second time for Mika Kallio, just 47 thousandths behind the German. The Marc VDS Racing Team rider precedes the Spaniard Julian Simon (riding the Kalex of Team Italtrans) and the Japanese Takaaki Nakagami, riding the Kalex of Idemitsu Honda Team Asia.
The Belgian Xavier Simeon (Suter Team Gresini) is fifth and ahead of the Roman Simone Corsi, riding the Forward KLX. Completing the Top Ten are Esteve “Tito” Rabat, Maverick Vinales, Alex de Angelis and Jordi Torres.
Mattia Pasini with the second Forward KLX of Team Ngm Mobile is thirteenth, while Lorenzo Baldassarri and Franco Morbidelli finished in twenty-third and twenty-fifth position.
