Moto2 Assen, Warm Up: Zarco is the fastest, Corsi is third
The world championship leader preceded the reigning champion Esteve Rabat and Simone Corsi
Moto2 2015 TT Assen Warm Up – Johann Zarco achieved the best time in the warm up of the Moto2 class in Assen, scene of the Dutch Grand Prix, which will take place in a few hours.
The Team Ajo Motorsport driver lapped in 1'37"499, placing the reigning champion Esteve Rabat 0.330s behind him, on the Kalex of Team Marc VDS Estrella Galicia.
Third time for the Roman Simone Corsi. The Forward Racing rider has a gap from Zarco of 0.453s and is in turn ahead of the Speed Up of the British Sam Lowes.
German Jonas Folger set the fifth fastest time ahead of Belgian Xavier Simeon, 2014 Moto3 champion Alex Marquez and Japanese Takaaki Nakagami. Closing the Top Ten are the Swiss Dominique Aegerter and Thomas Luthi.
Franco Morbidelli with the Kalex of Team Italtrans set the fifteenth time, while Lorenzo Baldassarri with that of Forward Racing was twentieth.
