Moto2 Aragon, Warm Up: Rabat ahead of Lowes and Zarco
World championship leader Johann Zarco has his first Title Point today
Moto2 2015 Aragon Warm Up – Reigning champion Esteve Rabat achieved the best time in the Moto2 class warm up in Aragon.
The Marc VDS Racing Team driver set the best time with a time of 1:52.973, taking almost half a second off world championship leader Johann Zarco.
Third time for the British Speed Up driver Sam Lowes, fourth for the Japanese Takaaki Nakagami, fifth for the Swiss Thomas Luthi and sixth for the category rookie Alex Rins.
Jonas Folger, Alex Marquez, Sandro Cortese and Luis Salom round out the Top Ten. Eleventh and twelfth times for the Forward Racing drivers, Simone Corsi and Lorenzo Baldassarri. Twenty-ninth time for Federico Fuligni, while the injured Federico Caricasulo will not take part in the race, struggling with collarbone problems.
