Moto2 Aragon, Warm Up: Best time for Morbidelli
Morbidelli preceded Zarco and Lowes, who fell to Baldassarri
GP Motorland Aragon Moto2 Warm Up – Franco Morbidelli set the best time in the warm-up of the Moto2 class in Aragon, scene of the fourteenth stage of the 2016 world championship.
The Italian centaur of Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS achieved it with a time of 1:54.163, a time 0.140s better than that set by the leader of the world championship classification Johann Zarco.
The Frenchman is followed by pole man Sam Lowes, Jonas Folger, Thomas Luthi, Takaaki Nakagami, Sandro Cortese and the Roman Simone Corsi, Speed Up rider. Axel Pons and Jesko Raffin close the Top Ten.
Alex Rins, who follows Zarco in the standings by three points, is twelfth, while Mattia Pasini achieved the fifteenth fastest time.
Further back Luca Marini, twenty-fifth, while the Misano winner Lorenzo Baldassarri immediately crashed, fortunately without physical consequences.
