Moto2 and Moto3 | Test in Aragon before Thailand
The light class was stopped by the wind, in the intermediate class there was a taste of 2019, between Triumph and MV Agusta engines
Moto2 and Moto3 – After the Aragon Grand Prix, fourteenth stage of the 2018 MotoGP, some teams from the intermediate category and the light class stopped on the Motorland track for a day of testing, before leaving for the first stage of the Asian trip: the GP of Thailand.
Moto3
For Moto3 on the track will be the color bearers of the Sky Racing Team Vr46 team, Dennis Foggia and Nicolò Bulega (who will move to Moto2 next season), the KTM of the Ajo team driven by Darryn Binder and that of the Angel Nieto Team entrusted to Albert Arenas . The strong wind heavily affected the session for the Moto3 teams who only completed a handful of laps.
Moto2
For the intermediate category on the track: the Marc VdS team, Red Bull KTM Ajo, Speed Up Racing Team, Tasca Racing, Kiefer Racing, SAG, Italtrans, Forward Racing and RW Racing
Moto2 also had to deal with the adverse weather, but they managed to lap much more than the cadet category, a sort of preparation in view of Phillip Island, as told by Alex Marquez. The Spaniard from the Marc VdS team also took to the track with tires for next season, but given the weather conditions the team preferred to 'close' the day early.
The winner of the Aragon GP, Brad Binder, had the opportunity to take to the track with the Triumph engine which will be used from next season, as did Alex De Angelis (Tester for NTS) who in addition to the engine tested different chassis configurations, and Lorenzo Lanzi, on track with the new MV Agusta of the Forward Racing team (in the photo above).
In addition to the riders mentioned above, most focused on setting up the bike in view of the Asian trip.
