Moto2 GP of the Americas Race – Sergio Garcia won the Moto2 class Americas Grand Prix, third stage of the 2024 MotoGP championship held at COTA, Circuit of the Americas.

Ready to go, the MT Helmets – MSI Team rider took the lead of the race on Boscoscuro and never left it until the checkered flag, with Joe Roberts who didn't give up until the checkered flag, taking the Team's Kalex OnlyFans American Racing just 0.492s from victory.

On the third step of the podium went Fermin Aldeguer, who after a start with some problems and a phase of the race where he fought and lost ground with his team-mate Alonso Lopez, crossed the finish line more than three seconds from the top, right in front of the teammate

Fifth position for the second Kalex of Team OnlyFans American Racing, that of Marcos Ramirez, who in the final part of the race got the better of our Dennis Foggia (Italtrans), with the Roman giving up the third step of the podium only at the end due to tire deterioration.

However, the #71 race was good, ahead of the Japanese Ai Ogura (MT Helmets – MSI), Jeremy Alcoba (VR46 Master Camp) and Aron Canet, with the Fantic Racing driver losing the Championship leadership to Garcia also at due to a very bad start. Also in the Top Ten was Celestino Vietti (Red Bull Ajo) who finished tenth.

Also scoring points were our Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS), the Gresini Racing riders Albert Arenas and Manuel Gonzalez, Diogo Moreira (Italtrans) and Filip Salac (Marc VDS).

A start to the season to forget for Arbolino, who after three races has only 9 points (15th position) against Garcia's 51.

It should be underlined that a rider in the "middle" class with the #3 had not won a race since Australia 2003, then it was Roberto Rolfo who did so, riding the Honda.
