Moto2 | GP Qatar Test 3: Aldeguer still in command
Tony Arbolino is the only Italian to directly access Q2
Moto2 GP Qatar Tests 3 – Fermin Aldeguer never stops and after dominating Day 1, he also wins the third practice session of the Qatar Grand Prix, 19th stage of the Moto2 class, scheduled in Lusail.
The SpeedUp driver who took the lead with his Boscoscuro with a time of 1:57.895, was followed by Joe Roberts (Italtrans) and Jake Dixon (Aspar), 0.192s and 0.308s behind respectively.
Manuel Gonzalez (VR46 Team) is fourth, ahead of Lukas Tulovic (Intact GP), Ai Ogura (Team Asia), Zonta van den Goorbergh (Racing GP) and the new World Champion Pedro Acosta (Red Bull Ajo). Also in the Top Ten are Alex Escrig (Forward) and Barry Baltus (Racing GP).
Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS) also qualified directly for Q2 and with the times set yesterday Aron Canet (Pons), Somkiat Chantra (Team Asia) and Sam Lowes (Marc VDS).
They will have to pass through the Q1 trap, among others Dennis Foggia (Italtrans) 21st, Celestino Vietti (Fantic Racing) 24th and Mattia Casadei (Fantic Racing) 28th.
